How to export your Discovery Bank statements and transactions
Download PDF statements or export transactions to Excel or CSV from the Discovery Bank app, with a link to the official guide.
Discovery Bank is run from the app. You can download a PDF statement, and you can also export your transactions to Excel or CSV, which is ideal for bookkeeping.

What you can export
- PDF (statement)

Download a statement in the app
- Log in to the Discovery Bank app.
- Tap More at the bottom right and choose Statements.
- Select the account and the month.
- Use the share icon to download or save the PDF.
Export transactions to Excel or CSV
- Open the account and tap the three-dot menu in the top right.
- Tap Download Transactions.
- Choose the date range and pick Excel or CSV.
- Tap Send. The file is emailed to the address on your profile.
Exports are sent to the email on your profile rather than saved on the phone, so check that your email address is current first.
What to send us
Where your bank offers a data file (CSV, OFX or Excel), send that. It imports straight into your books. If your bank only offers a PDF, a clear, full-period statement is perfectly fine.
