How to export your FNB bank statements and transactions

Download FNB statements as PDF, or export your transactions to CSV, OFX, OFC or QIF from FNB Online Banking. Includes a link to FNB's official guide.

FNB lets you download a PDF statement or export your transactions in several data formats. For bookkeeping, the CSV or OFX export from FNB Online Banking is the most useful.

What you can export

  • PDF (statement)
  • CSV, OFX, OFC or QIF (transaction export, Online Banking)

In FNB Online Banking (best for CSV or OFX)

  1. Log in to FNB Online Banking on a computer.
  2. Go to My Bank Accounts and click the account you want.
  3. Open Transaction History or Statements.
  4. Click Download, then choose your date range.
  5. Select your format (PDF, CSV, OFX, OFC or QIF) and download the file.

In the FNB app

  1. Log in to the FNB app and select the account.
  2. Tap Statements or Download Statement.
  3. Choose the statement or period.
  4. Download it or email it to yourself.

The CSV and OFX exports are an Online Banking (web) feature. The app is best for a stamped PDF statement. The last three months are usually free.

What to send us

Where your bank offers a data file (CSV, OFX or Excel), send that. It imports straight into your books. If your bank only offers a PDF, a clear, full-period statement is perfectly fine.
